Working on a project for somebody that involved looking through some old school signage. Thought I'd post a few images here, pretty cool looking stuff.
New Site Is Live - www.simplysdammann.com
Well my new site is finally live. It's definitely not done, but at least it's up and running. I want to add a lot more content, and there's several other things I want to do, just haven't figured out how to program them (this is my first site and really don't know what I'm doing!). Hopefully it displays ok, I haven't really tried much for browser compatibility.

These photo realistic renderings were done by one of my college classmates Arthur. He has worked for several world renowned architecture firms, and also does freelance renderings and design through his website Artmak. Some of his work is really unbelievable. Take a look through his website to find many more architectural renderings, as well as some product renderings and web design.

In Defense of Eye Candy
Ok so no images here. This is a link to an article by Stephen P. Anderson titled 'In Defense of Eye Candy'. The title pretty much says it all. It's an article that explains how important aesthetics actually are, mostly in reguards to sales.
4 Sides 4 Home
Without compromising on privacy, the 4sides4home is an amazing interior option for those who have small apartments and even smaller families. The concept utilizes the given floor space optimally by doing away with the walls and incorporating partitions instead. Imagine a huge plus sign on the floorplan where each wing is a specific room. What you design or expect from the modular room is up to you. For instance the four wings could each be a living room, a bedroom, a study and a dining room.
Calendar Made of Matches
A calendar made out of a book of matches. Designed by Yurko Gutsulyak, each page is a month and it looks like a comb made of matches that correspond to the days. The matches are real and the construction of the calendar is absolutely safe.
